Eingetrübt bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, fruchtig mit Karamell, schwach hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

33cl bottle. A hazy deep amber beer with a big off white head. Aroma of reddish malt, caramel, spruce, resins. Taste of fruity reddish malt, resins, pine needles, moderate bitterness, high carbonation.

Malty but with a resinous and citrusy hop-balance. A bit metallic in the finish. Okay, not ecxiting.

Bottle, many thanks herrklemann! Amber color with soapy beige head. Aroma is resinous, citrusy, caramel and toffee. Taste is mostly the same, with a nice interplay of toffee malts and resinous hops. Oily mouthfeel. Decent, but nothing exciting.

Draught at Tribaun, Innsbruck
Red Amber color, hazy, with compact head. The aroma is strong, resiny, spicy, with hints of frankincense, and hops. The mouthfeel is too dry, it hinders the malt flavor; strong g bitterness, quite resiny hops.
Starts great, misses a bit, later. But it’s still a good hoppy Pale Ale.

Bottled@HBF2015. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, wooden and some slight herbal notes. Flavour is floral, wooden, some mild toffee and caramel to it as well. Quite crisp on the malty side.

Sample from bottle at HBF 2015, Helsinki. Colour is cloudy deep orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, grain, some citrus, hops and malts.

Das Bier habe ich anno 2015 das erste Mal getrunken und habe es jetzt wieder im Glas vor mir. Aber irgendwie kann es mich nicht mehr erfreuen. Es hat einen muffigen Beigeschmack und schließt sich einer Reihe von Forstner-Bieren an, die einen unangenehmen Beigeschmack haben, nachdem ich sie erneut verkoste. Es sind zwar schöne Aromen da, die nicht dem Mainstream entsprechen, aber der herb-muffige Beigeschmack haut viel zusammen.
