Ein „Freestyle“ Red Ale, nach englischem Stil aber mit amerikanischem Hopfen und deutscher Hefe. Die fruchtigen Aromen der Hefe verbinden sich mit den dezenten Malzaromen und den Zitrusnoten des Hopfens zu einem charaktervollen, dunkleren Biertypus.

bottle at home ... thanks to dan ... copper ... thin white head ... soft sweet toffee malt ... little nutty ...soft juicy malts ... light sweet fruits ... soft ovaltine ... touch of lageryness. ok.

Draught at the brewpub as Forstner Rotes Bier. Clear amber coloured, medium sized pale tan head, malty caramel nose. Toasted malt, light grainy and herbal with moderate sweet finish. Another very good Forstner beer.

Forstner Rotes Bier, draught at the brewpub. 12.8°, 5.4%. Poured a reddish-brown bodywith a medium/small off white head. Dusty, eggy grainy nose with some hop, but not unpleasant. The taste is pleasant, light, aromatic and grainy, some hopiness leaving notes of orange. Well balanced and drinkable.
