Jet black pour, thicc beige head. Nose is dry earthy notes, some wood, slight piney character. Taste is chocolate, earthy notes, some sweet booze. Longish sweet, chocolatey finish, light body, soft to average carbonation. Bit of a meh altogether.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of citrus, pine, roasted malt and coffee. Pours pitch black color with medium soapy tan-like head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with light to medium sweet roasted malt, following is sour grainy, grassy, earthy and faint fruity, mouthfeel is rather dry and spicy, while finish is heavy bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and lively carbonation in palate. Quite big...

Bottle courtesy of MarkoNm. Cheers for this one! Pours very dark brown, almost black, with a ruby tint and a long lasting foamy beige head. Aroma of light roasted malt, chocolate, hop, hint of coffee, citrus and dried fruits. Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Medium body, slightly oily texture and fizzy carbonation. Finish is a little dry, bitter, fruity and chocolaty. Very good.

On tap at Sir Williams Pub, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Shared with Višnja 666 and Pilot Goran, summer of 2017. Black, off-white head. Seems very porter-ish and malt-driven at first, dark malts and fruits, coffee and roasty aromas, lightly hoppy, grassy. Moderate bitterness, mostly roasty. Medium body, alcohol present, moderate finish. Nicely done, but could use a bit more hoppy character to be great.

Bottle from shop near Predjama castle. Pitch black with brownish dense head. Beautiful. In aroma it’s burnt caramel with roasted coffee, also nice. Bit sad is that the taste is not significantly amazing as the overall appearance. It’s good, bit sharp. But there’s some line, almost like sour, I really don’t enjoy. Still, it’s a very good beer.

Dark brown to black colored, strong tan frothy head, very long lasting. Aroma is of roasted malt, some coffee, medium citrus and floral hops. Taste is medium sweet malt, some roasted malt and light coffee, dark chocolate, medium- hoppy aroma of citrus and floral notes, medium bitterness, dryish finish, slight grassy notes, alcohol well hidden until warm. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. Not bad at all! (bottle, Primoz, Ljubljana)
