Tap at Brewpub, so I guess it's not retired, 13th March 19. Pours a black beer, or dark brown. Aroma is dark chocolate, malty. Taste is roasty, chocolate and malt, bitter and slight sweet.

Draught at the brewpub. Pitch black with tan head. Leathery aroma with coffee, cocoa, caramel and light vanilla. Quite roasted taste with coffee, cocoa, vanilla and leather. Lightly roasted finish.

Draght at the brewpub.
Almost black body, with a medium, creamy, lacing, dark beige head.
Aroma of toast, liquorice, coffee, caramel, cocoa, dark fruits.
Taste follows this, with additional subtle vanilla.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes smooth, quite dry, roasty, toasty, with coffee, cocoa powder, some wooden notes, some alcohol warmth.

Tasty. Smooth and greatly balanced, with enough toasty dryness and coffee to balance the dark sweet notes. Quite strong style example, but not overpowering, with a well hidden ABV. Overall propably my favourite Porter from Austria so far, pretty much how I want this style.

0,1l from tap at the brewpub. Black colour, small coffee-colored head. Smells a bit medical, licorice, light fruity, spices. ok, bit limited smell. Full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes of licorice, spices, peppery, bit medical, light caramel, hints of vanilla, light bitter chocolate. Finishes light roast with notes of licorice and bitter chocolate. good one, didn’t like it so much at first, but it grew at me, I thought I detected a light uncleanliness at first, but that note disappeared after a while. overall good one.
