Bottle from Jacks, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, Tuesday 21st January 2014 consumed at home Sunday 2nd February 2014 A little cloudy on the pourage, the top is white sticky foam. With the aroma you get a sense of something beery but that has been put away for some time so certainly not a clean flinty minerally nose that I was expecting. A rather flabby pils in the mouth, lacks crispness, bite and isn’t refreshing which I consider to be the hallmarks of a decent Pils. Its drinkable but that is a rather back handed compliment I guess, just ok. A5 A4 T6 P3 Ov10 2.8

Bottle from Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Thin, white head. This is an odd beer. Aroma is pils, with added grapefruit pithiness. Taste follows the same theme. Easy drinking, but has oomph. Enjoyed this a good deal, despite the slight disjointedness. Which may, or may not, be a real word.
