Coffee/vanilla porter. The guys at Devil’s Peak took a look at our Cafe Racer recipe, and decided to rev it up with a little African style.
Rammed with rich Kenyan espresso and Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar, this brew is as black as the ace of spades in the Devil’s Peak logo.

Sampled @ London Craft Beer Festival 2017. A dark brown beer with a small tan head. Aroma of sweet chocolate, coffee, vanilla. Taste of sweet chocolate, milk, vanilla, sugar, nice.

Bottle picked up at Taste of Grampian. It pours jet black with a medium beige head. The aroma is rich, sweet, earthy roast, plenty of coffee, vanilla, rocky road, cookie dough and chocolate doughnuts. The taste is smooth, slick, rich roasted malt, toasty, chocolate cake, vanilla, chocolate doughnut, good hit of coffee and some alcohol warmth on the back - end with a bitter - sweet finish. Medium-full body and moderate carbonation. Rich and flavoursome. Good balance and way more drinkable than it should be!
