[50cl bottle from Mleczko, Reading.] A glossy black pour with a thin tan head; sweet, earthy, roasted grain aroma; sweet malty taste with a hint of licorice; and a light grainy bitterness to finish. A little too sweet for me.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice creamy head. Starts mild but not washy, fine malty-roasty, more and more sweetish notes. Light hints of liquorice. Finish well balanced, soft-malty, still sweetish-malty. Not bad.

13 October 2021. At Bialy Kamien, Świeradów-Zdrój. Cheers to the lovely Anke!
Hazy black, stable, frothy, beige head. Aroma of caramel, fudge, toast, dried fig, prune. Taste has sweet raisin, fig & pear, caramelly, almost dark fudge-like maltiness, bit toasty. Low herbal hoppy finish, dark fudge & dried fruit. Medium body, slick-syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Not refined, but enjoyable, certainly compared to a lot of regular Pale Lagers...

Bottle from 7 Days, Crewe. A sweet and malty aroma exudes from this one. Pours a dark reddish brown with a reasonable but transient beige head. Sticky sweetness Is the first impression in the mouth. There is toffee, treacle and golden syrup, but some roasted malts stop that from being overwhelming. The malts come through a bit more in the finish. Not a bad beer at al, but a bit sweet for my liking.
