100% Brettanomyces dark beer, fermented in stainless and aged in used red wine barrels. “Brett” is a unique yeast strain that produces flavors that would be offensive if they weren’t intentional. Flavors of sour cherry, tobacco, oak, and classic “Brett” barnyard funk, balanced by Dark Munich malt chewiness. Enjoy immediately or age at cellar temperature for a couple years.

On tap at CBC, pours a deep dark amber / mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma of vinegar, dark sour fruits, red wine notes and maybe a subtle brett note. Flavour brings out notes of dry red wine barrels, moderate brett, and mild vinegar. Quite complex, with only a subtle tartness, and moderate wild character. Finishes on notes of vinegar and bretted out sour fruits. Good stuff.

Clear brown, small smooth brown yellow head. Malty sourish citrudsy arms. Flavor likewise, with a complex citrus fruity mix. Tastes fantastic. At CBC it even came with a solid dose of great metal

Draught @ CBC 2013

Pours dark red with a bubbly white head. Aroma of sweet berry notes, wood, cherries and vanilla. Taste is slightly tart with cherries, berries, sweet juicy notes and hints of sourness. Finish is smooth, mildly tart with cherries and some sourish notes. Quite easygoing sour ale but still tasty.
