Apple, pear, spicy, fruit esters, bit funky. Starts medium sweet, tangy and lightly sour and turns dry and bitter, but not too dry after all.

Color amarillo oscuro corona de espuma blanca aromas herbales, notas especiadas, sabor herbales, notas levadura, cuerpo ligero.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Spicy and fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of white grapes, gooseberry, a touch of nutmeg, rhubarb, slightly biscuity, malty background with a touch of speculoos. Taste is dry, slightly vinous and citrusy hoppy, spicy, notes of white grapes, white wine, gooseberry, a touch of sparkling wine, some nutmeg, lemon, rhubarb, a touch of lemon and lime zest. Nice Brut IPA.

Je n'ai pas été loin d'être mis au tapis avec cette Round 3, IPA à la fois racée et élégante pour un résultat très plaisant. Avec un final retombant très vite, elle manque cependant le coche pour être tout à fait aboutie, ce qui est quelque peu frustrant. Blond trouble en verre avec une mousse n'allant juste la surface, rien d'exceptionnel sur ce point. Le nez met en soif par contre, sur une belle amertume autour de fruits exotiques, mangue, de l'orange, du citron vert, de résineux et de fleurs. Côté houblon nous sommes sur un duo Citra/Enigma très efficace et bien boosté par un houblonnage à cru. A la dégustation, pas d'agressivité toutefois avec une amertume saillante et racée faisant un peu plus que ses 45 d'IBU. L'équilibre malt/Houblon est de plus excellent et l'alcool à 6,7 % portant bien la structure. On retrouve le cocktail aromatique du nez dès l'attaque accompagné de fines épices. L'amertume est alors croissante jusqu'à la seconde bouche et avec une présence en bouche. On s'attend alors au KO avec un final élancé...pour notre plus grand plaisir...et alors…plus rien. Le combattant La Pirata s'écroule...Ding ! Fin du round. Cela mérite un round 4 !
