0.33 l bottle from 'Vormann Brauerei', best before January 2020. Clear, deep amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of caramel, coffee beans and nuts. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, malty, slightly roasty taste of caramel, coffee beans, some nuts and hints of vanilla, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly roasty finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant beer with prominent but not over-powering notes of coffee.

Tap. Rather clear copper color with no head. Aroma is coffee ground, and lots of it. Taste is coffee ground, light grains, a bit sticky. Oily mouthfeel, low carbonation. Doesn't work out too well for me.

Weicher kaffeeartiger Beginn. Viel Karamell, etwas hopfig, was aber schnell wieder verschwindet. Spritzig, der Kaffee bleibt intensiv, langer Abgang. Gut. 10/11/10/10//11
