Huvila Arctic Circle Ale is a chestnut coloured ale with a malty/fruity odour. It tastes of dark fruits and caramel malts and finishes off with a nice bitter hop tail. It is brewed with both juniper twigs and a large dose of Finnish attitude. It is available on tap an in bottles in bars and restaurants across Finland.

Pours medium to dark brown with a very small and brief head. Aroma is more malty than herbal but juniper os detectable in background . Small hops and herbal finish.

Big notes of slightly roasted, nutty brown sugar, with some subtle hops, and some pine. The finish is quit bitter with alot of herbs, grasses and the juniper comes around. Interesting.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Roasted-malty, earthy, shy hoppy background. Warming-malty finish, fine roasty, not too intense. Nice.

Many thanks to japppp. Intense deep chocolate coffee beginning. Deep roast, grain and very dense and rich. Intense concentrated espresso and chocolate. Deep. sticky and fantastic dark stuff.

Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Dark amber color. Malt, grassy hops and licorice in the aroma. Firm earthy oily hopbitter flavor with licorice and some hidden melon notes. Hops and licorice lingering on in the aftertaste, though the balance ramains largely intact. Nice brew.

Aus der Flasche 2016-01 getrunken. Dieses finnische Weihnachtsbier was mit mit Wacholderzweigen gebrauht wurde war echt lecker.
