Can from Holiday Market. Pours a clearish ruby red with a quick dissipating finger of pink, rose colored foam. Big, jammy strawberry forward nose with light floral hibiscus and herbal, grassy aromas. Light booze aromas that dissipate as it warms. More strawberry on the palate, but an astringent herbal/floral element that distracts more on the palate than the nose. Dry finish with lingering arugula, flower stems, strawberry seed and strawberry jam.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 7/29/2019. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy deep ruby red/orange/pink color 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light pink head with goof retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas and flavors of big juicy/tart/tangy strawberries, cranberry, hibiscus, fruit skin/seeds, tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, red apple, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, tea, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of strawberry, hibiscus, citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, and moderate pale malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy strawberries, cranberry, hibiscus, fruit skin/seeds, tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, red apple, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, tea, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness; and berry/hibiscus tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy/tart/tangy strawberries, cranberry, hibiscus, fruit skin/seeds, tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, red apple, guava, blueberry, gooseberry, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, tea, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberry, hibiscus, citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness and tart/tangy fruit/hibiscus balance; with minimal puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness, tang, tartness, and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky/resinous/rindy/acidic/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an excellent fruited brut IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberry, hibiscus, citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/acidic/tangy/drying finish. Not overly bitter/tart. Feels like El Dorado, Citra, Mosaic. Super juicy/jammy strawberry, hibiscus, hops; some dank/earthy notes; with a nice clean pale malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Feels mostly like a fruit beer, but very impressive either way.
