“IPAs are great, and one of my favorite styles. Hop and yeast varieties create an infinite palate for delicious drinkable flavor explorations. Darker malts are just too heavy to allow these other beautiful flavors to shine through.”

- Ron Jeffries

All The Trees; Vigorous hops unfold notes of guava, pink peppercorns, grapefruit, cherry skins and pine.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 8/16/2019. Pours fairly hazy deep golden/amber/light orange color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, honeydew melon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, peppercorn, pine, cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.2%. Overall this is an incredible IPA. All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/resinous/drying finish. Fantastic soft feel, and not aggressive. Fantastic Chinook, Cascade, Falconers Flight, Vanguard, Simcoe profile. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy hops; with a nice clean oat/malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with crisp resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example.

Can from 8 Degrees Plato. Pours a clear orange gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Dry nose with pine, dried citrus zest, pith and yeast burn with a sweet Belgian yeast character as it warms. Dry on the palate with lots of pink peppercorn, dried tangerine zest and astringent pine. Astringent finish...like a Belgian ale, but not as elegant. Not really feeling this one.
