Ralphie ist ein Comic-Muskelmann in roten Speedos, der uns auf dem Etikett zupost. Wie angekündigt bekommt man ein fruchtiges Weizenbier und man hält seine Versprechungen. Das Bier hat ole Aromen nach Banane, Papaya, Mango und Kiwi -und das alles vor dem klassisch hefigen Weizenbierhintergrund. Kein klassisches uriges Weizenbier zur Erfrischung, aber aufgrund des schönen Aromenbuketts als Feierabendbier sehr gut geeignet.

Bottle from AH, Rotterdam. Pours light orange color, cloudy, big massive white head, fruity smell. Flavor of wheat malt and oats, lots of tropical hops, notes of banana, quite a lot of yeast, dough, tangerine, cheese. At glance i'll set this in the hopfenweisse range. Taste is juicy, mild tart and citrusy, with a nice bitter balance, dry finish, medium-strong carbonation, medium to full body. Nice!

Bottled 330ml. -from Albert Heijn Amsterdam. Slightly hazy yellow coloured, small white head, mild wheaty fruity nose. Sweetish malty, wheaty, fruity, mild yeasty and notes of banana with mild spicy finish. Drinkable.

Fles gedeelt door Roelzie1986. Het is is een goudgeel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een tropische fruitige geur. De smaak is fruitig, banaan achtig en een beetje gistachtig in d afdronk.

330 ml. bottle @ Vegan Junk Food Bar oddly paired by myself with vegan sashimi. Hazy orange with a huge soapy white head. Nose is big soap, sugar, sweet, oddly rather BE in profile. Taste is soapy sugar, candy, banana, yeast in a quite BE sweet sugar, way, candy, odd but rather liked it even or at least way more than expected even if an odd BE / NL school fashion.
