De Leffe Royale Cascade onderscheidt zich door een levendig karakter, een intense frisheid en lichte citrustoetsen (citroen en gele pompelmoes). Door het proces van dry hopping is dit goudblond bier een echte IPA.
La Leffe Royale Cascade se démarque par son caractère vif, sa fraîcheur intense et ses notes d’agrumes délicates (citron et pamplemousse jaune). Houblonnée à cru, cette bière à la robe dorée est une véritable IPA, (une «India Pale Ale» est une bière à forte teneur en houblon) de connaisseurs. Bottle from Albert Heijn, Den Haag. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a broken white head. The aroma is sweet malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter sweet with a sweet malt, yeast, bubbly palate. A bit Leffe Blonde like but nowhere near as good. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to Jmgreenuk. Pours clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma of weedy hops, dull malts, cat pee and cardboard. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with light carbonation.

Appearance- golden with a slight amber tinge, fairly clear, a small foamy off-white head. Aroma- malt, hint of honey, spices, hints of orange. Taste- sweet malts, distinctive Leffe spiciness, creamy malt, sugary sweetness, a whisper of hops. Solid if unspectacular.

33cl bottle courtesy of Arve_Christian - thanks a lot! Pours clear golden with a white head. Mild malty aroma with notes of Belgian yeast, fruits, grass and hints of honey and alcohol. Guess it’s Belgian IPA, but it’s more Belgian than IPA. Medium sweet with mild fruity and malty flavours, hints of hops and more bitterness than in the usual Belgian beers, but wouldn’t have guessed IPA in a blind tasting. Fair enough in the end.

33cl Bottle from AH. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma is floral, soapy, some citrus, sweet Leffe, later on less fresh and more sugary, sweet, esters, light fruity. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, floral, soapy, sugary, later on more sweet, spicy, estery, bordering on cloying, decent bitterness. Light to medium bodied. Started out OK, ended up not finishing the whole bottle. And to call this an IPA is a gotspe.

Clear, pale golden colored, small white non lasting head. Aroma is of some malt, bit caramel, some yeast, herbal and bit citrus hops. Taste is low to medium sweet malt, bit brewing sugar, some yeast, some herbal, more spicy and bit citrusy hops. Dryish bitter finish, moderate bitterness. Light to medium bodied, moderate carbonation. While it is OK, it can definitely be better...

750 c&c from the Republique Monoprix. Pours gold with a slight white head. Aroma is floral/citrus. Med body or better. Flavor is floral/citrus. It is bitter enough, and the hop flavor seems Cascade. However, there is no harsh, hop burn, so it’s not the sort of thing coming out of the NW USA. Good drink tho. The finish is bitter enough.

Floral-würziger Geruch. Tolle frische Hopfenaromen in der Nase. Frisch-würzig, floral mit leichter Süße. Nicht zu intensiv aber leicht fruchtig zitronig mit frisch leicht süßlicher gewürziger Malznote. Lecker!
