Can. A- Dust, weak, slightly roasty. A- Golden orange color, hazy liquid, fizzy white head. T- Coffee, slightly earthy, mild vanilla, mild sweet cream. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly roasty finish. O- Not bad, wanted a lot more. Would have been better if they didn't use blond malt. Honestly, they're taking a great beer and distorting it into variants that simply aren't close to as good as the original bunch. Taste better than aroma.

Pour is a hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma is some faint vanilla and cream. Flavor is a little better. I get a lot more from the oak with more vanilla and a bit of coconut. It's just ok. This beer probably would have been a bit better if they used traditional stout malts instead of going with blond malt.

$2.35 can, WW. Hazy gold with a large, soft off-white head. Aroma is cocoa, metallic notes. Flavor is vanilla, cocoa, metallic notes, light floral notes. This is not stout-like at all, nor is it full-flavored.

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent dark gold with some white bubbles. Aroma of vanilla and coffee. Med + body. Flavor of coffee, vanilla, and some caramel. There's some wood and bourbon notes. Nice. Flavors aren't super strong, but tasty.

12 oz can from Hops & Bottles. Dark golden pour, skin of head. Light, roasty aroma, coffee. Taste starts off sweet, bready. Bourbon notes are light and come off as butterscotch. Creamy feel.

12 ounce can from Festival Foods Green Bay West, 9/9/19. Hazy orange copper, large dense creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of coffee, vanilla, chocolate. Taste is coffee, butterscotch, vanilla, caramel, hints of oak. Some bitterness coming from somewhere but I can't quite identify its source. Feels more roasty than hoppy. Full bodied and thick. It's decent but not sure I'd have it again.

Glad I finally got to try this, had been curious for a while now. Smells smooth and bourbony. Mouthfeel is smooth, but taste is a bit unbalanced. Light bourbon, something strangely unpleasant bitter in there. Light and sweet, not stouty enough.
