Pours golden with a thick white head. Aroma of white choclate and malt. Taste has creamy elements layered over vanilla. Palate has hops. Interesting.

Can at home. Pours golden orange, nose is white chocolate, coconut, caramel, taste is similar, quite sweet, grassy finish.

Can. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. The malts are slightly thin but bring a mild creamy sweetness. Modest vanilla cream, bare whisper of bourbon. Light semi dry finish. Fuckin lame!

On tap at Café de Opera. First of all, can we please stop classifying these adjunct Golden Ales as Stouts? Totally insane. Hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of vanilla, hint of orange peel, light fruity. Flavour is medium sweet, vanilla, orange peel, tiniest hint of toast, vanilla in the sweet and light bitter finish. Light bodied.

The Aromas are vanilla pipe tobacco and wet cardboard. Flavors are similar to nose the little Citrus in there, a bit sweet up front bit of bitterness in the Finish. Very little he reminds me of a stout. Not fond of white chocolate nor white Stouts.

Buttery caramel malt and light straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Moderately sweet butterscotch malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body. Pleasant.

A can of white stout, eh? Big foamy head on pale. Smells a little boozy. Weird stout taste considering the look! Head goes craggy. A little bit of weird bitterness in the middle, but not much. Somewhat creamy. Go gettem; not really white dragon. Actually, was hoping for a ruder raspy witbier kinda thang. In the end it comes across as an odd combination of looks and taste. Hard to find the barrel in this one. If I didn't see the label, I would have thought this was a higher alky cream ale.

12 oz can. Pours a somewhat hazy darker golden with a white head. Somewhat muted grainy biscuit malt aroma. In the flavor, bourbon gives kind of an oaky flavor up front, leading into some toasty-roasty coffee/cocoa flavors, a bit milky, occasionally more bourbon flavor. It's pretty good, and I guess somewhat reminiscent of Dragon's Milk.

Draft at Craft Breww City. Pours a clear orange gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Vanilla, marshmallow & cacao nib aromas. Some light brownie notes as it warms. Smooth and full bodied...creamy vanilla and Cadbury eggs on the finish. Not awful, but I've had better renditions of the white stout. There's not much if any bourbon on this. --- Beer merged from original tick of Dragon’s Milk White on 08 May 2019 at 21:24 - Score: 7. Original review text: Vanilla, marshmallow & cacao nib aromas.
