Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of brown head that lingers then dissipates. Salted caramel and toffee aromas dominate the nose with some coffee and cacao nib as it warms. Medium body with a plastic-y lactose texture on the palate. More cacao nib, dark chocolate cookie, salted caramel and toffee flavors. Lingering cacao and toffee on the palate with lingering booze. No maple, but enjoyable.
