Cucumber, lemon, malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with giant head and moderate effervescence. Cucumber, lemon, very light malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Light body. An okay beer - not a typical Koelsch

Beer #100 from this brewery. Pours a slightly hazy bright gold color with a medium white head that dissipates quickly to a film. Short strings of lace. Aroma of citrus, grassy hop and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of floral hop, lemon, cucumber and malt. The finish is fresh cucumber and hops. Decent overall.

OK, so I rated this before and spent some time on a decent rating but the stupid ass RB software erased my rating before I could submit it, so here goes the shorty: Its a bitter astringent brew that smell a little lemony but its nothing like a gentle civilized kolsch form the old country. Nothing near as good as soem domestics like Roy Pitz Best Blonde Ale or Bloom Brew Field of Dreams or even Black Forest Comrade Kolsch. Disappointing with its weird artificial cucumber lurking in the background. How about we try to make a few really good brews instead of a thousand stupid ass brews of different distinction. Big giant foamy head on a hazy pale brew.

Can from J's. Pours a clear gold with a finger of white foam that dissipates. Lemongrass aromas and cucumber water aromas...touch of lemon and grain as it warms. Smooth, crisp and refreshing. Nice cucumber edge on the finish. I'm digging this more than I thought I would.
