On tap at Man in the Moon, pours a pretty clear with a small beige head. Aroma brings out quite a lot of biscuity and crackery malts, some dry coniferous trees, and a moderately hoppy character. Flavour is super dry, with loads of palate drying coniferous tree-like hops, puckeringly dry crackery malts, and some odd vegetal (lettuce) notes that detract a bit. Quite an unorthodox flavour profile. Mouth puckeringly dry and quite a sharp bitterness. The fairly odd flavour profile becomes a lot more welcoming the more you drink. Good stuff.

Drucken på fat på Bishop Gustav. Typisk västkustprofil med mycket tall, kåda, grape och karamell. smaken är ganska fenolisk, färsk mjuk grön tallbark, men ganska snäll beska. Mer IPA än DIPA. Väl dold alkohol. Väldigt snäll. God, men förvånansvärt blek.

Smak och doft av citrus, karamell, mycket kåda och viss blommighet. Rund och len men med en sträv beska.

(Draught at Pikkulintu, 20130420) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, malts and hops. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, hops, pine, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. Not a bad double IPA. Rating: 8-3-8-3-14.
(Re-rate while being more sober) The alchohol was pushing through way too strongly. Acridness in taste and varnish in aroma.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 8 Apr 2013) Golden colour with dense, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of apricots, honey and stewed fruit. Malty, fruity taste with apricots, citrus, resin and a fairly sharp resinous bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, quite dry. Slightly prickly carbonation. A bit different for a DIPA, but quite nice.

On tap at Akkurat, April 2013. Clear light amber with a medium, creamy white head. Aroma and taste of hops, apricot, some grass and malt. Also some weak notes of "smoke". Quite soft with a bitter finish. Nothing sensational but an easy to drink DIPA.
