330 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours clear dark amber with a small brownish gray head that doesn’t last long. Smell is malty sweet with bread, orange zest, pine grass and hints of caramel. Taste is slightly sweet and slightly bitter with caramel, toasted malts, grass, pine, orange zest, prunes and hints of dark bread. Mouthfeel is tiny watery, slightly round and thin to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with grass and orange peal.

33 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 02.06.2011
Aroma has bready malt and some metal. Flavour feels like a german dunkel with extra hops; some bready malt, hints of coffee and chocolate. Aftertaste is weird and bitter in a harsh way. Not good.

God, men doften lovade mer.

Bottle. (vintage 2011) Nice mahogny with a small creamy head. Something strange in the aroma, but the taste was a bit better. Some roasted malt and nuts. The body was on the light side.

On tap at Glenfiddich Warehouse, Stockholm. The color was brownish with a large and inviting foam. The aroma was not powerful in any way. Caramel, grass and light roasted notes. The taste was nothing special, mainly malt and caramel. The body was light and carbonation was medium. Drinkable but nothing to write home about.

gift from joergen, thanks mate. clear amber, smooth offwhite head. aroma is nutty, caramel, flowery slightly sourish hoppy note. I was surprised it had this much aroma when it’s only 5.6% flavor is nutty, caramelly, malty, bitter and slightly flowery hoppy balance, the overall flavor is pretty bitter towards the end, with both hops and malts adding to it. Quite sweet brew, but the hops and the bitterness takes care of the sweetness.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, 20110422) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, molasses and mildly roastedness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, herbalness, malts, hops and bitterness. Aftertaste was roasty and bitter. A flawless brew that lacked all the edges that would have made the beer more interesting and better.
