2019 bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Thanks Aaron! Pours a clearish copper with a full finger of beige head that lingers. Big fruit forward nose with plum, prune and raisin alongside dark chocolate, caramel, oak and vanilla. More oak on the palate with rum raisin, creamy vanilla and bourbon. Boozy, but not overly so. Drier than most barley wines these days and really drinkable for the abv. Never cloying or overly sweet. Lingering oak and bourbon with more fruit cake and faint smoked cacao on the finish. World class stuff here.
