5 month old can A: Poured 1 of off white fluffy head atop a very hazy opaque medium gold body. Good retention and patchy lace. S: Orange and tangerine citrus notes and sweet tropical fruit backed by caramel. T: Bitter citrus pith and zest but with some tropical or peach sweetness and toast providing very good balance. M: Smooth grainy texture with soft carbonation and an acidic finish. O: FInding this quite good right at its best by date. I must try it fresh.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 3/23/2019. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew, watermelon, red apple, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 5.9%. Overall this is a delicious IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/fairly earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp/clean to drink with the mellowly bitter/drying finish; not aggressive. Great Ekuanot, El Dorado, Galaxy profile. Very juicy, vibrant, and fairly dank/earthy hops; with a nice clean pale/wheat malt backbone. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example as expected.

Tap at the Davis Graduate. Pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma of tropicals and grapefruit. Medium body. It’s fruitily undry, tropically hoppy and pleasingly bitter. Detectable pale malt support. Very nice.

Blah IPA, proving Boulevard's marketing people run pretty fast and loose with the use of bursting with tropical fruit flavors. Very tame in this department compared to the billion other juicy IPAs on shelves right now, with mellow mango-mandarin notes in the middle and a modest piney bitterness laced with buttered crackers and yeast on the back end. Nose has hints of caramel and cracker; not too much on the juice front. Quite a forgettable pint.

12oz can. A pretty solid, juicy, modern IPA. Still has some rindy bitterness, but mostly leans into the softer, juicier side. Floaties. Maybe some wheat or oat in there, but not sure about that. Very drinkable, shares a lot of similarities with Pale Ale. Overall OK.

12 oz bottle purchased as part of a seasonal Boulevard mix pack. L022519 Bottled on February 25, 2019. The pour is a slight haze golden yellow with a foamy well formed 2 inch white head. The aroma is soft citrus, floral, and a bit of spice. The taste is clean hop flavors of orange lemon citrus, floral, and bit of earth pine towards the back. Nice clean biscuit malt in the finish. The palate is light to medium bodied with clean floral finish. Tasty.
