Cacao PM Dawn presents an opaque black color with khaki head and lacing. Warm aromas of freshly brewed dark coffee meld with the rich, savory accents of cacao on the nose. The flavor profile leads with toasted graham cracker, nutmeg, dried fruit, roasted mixed nuts, and chewy marshmallow. On the back end, the cacao nibs provide rounded depth of flavor, extending the palate with highlights of earthy, unsweetened dark chocolate. As with all of our PM Dawn variants, Cacao PM Dawn offers a medium to heavy body with a luscious mouthfeel and a light bitterness for a balanced and smooth finish.

Excellent coffee stout.
Black pour and a fine head.
Good intensity in the aroma.
Balanced sweetness and a fine mellow carbonation level.
Coffee, espresso, dark malt and roast in the flavor.

Burk från Trillium. Svart med krämig beige krona. Precis i början en del askfat i doften, men öppnar upp sig och ger mer utav piptobak, kaffe, toffee, nötiga toner och framför allt kakao. Gott.

Canned, 473 ml shared with Miro B, Max and Zec. Dark brown with beige head. Chocolate, cocoa, some coffee. Moderate sweetness with some bitterness in finish. Medium bodied.

Canned 473ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & hrabren, thanks! Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head, strong and pleasant coffee nose. Light roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and cocoa with mild alcohol presence. Smooth and enjoyable.

Canned from Base Camp. Blackish very dark brown, off white traces of a head. Pungent aroma, coffee with lovely cocoa undertones. Dry, sweetish taste, again, coffee undertones, lovely cocoa notes, light carbonation, some alcohol. Very pleasant, but not as much of a wow as I hoped. Just a very well made coffee sour. The carbonation in combination with light burn is what knocks it out of the 4+ area for me, but huge respect anyway!

0.473 l can thanks to Marko who brought it from Prague. Shared with Ogi and him. Intense coffee, roasted malts, slightly burnt, hints of cocoa, coffee develops nicely in a fruity way. Nuts and toasted bread. Salted dark caramel, burnt, roasty, coffee beans. Slightly sweet, smooth, some roasty bitterness. Good balance, very soft, quite drinkable. A nice surprise.

On tap at Trillium Fort Point. Pours black. Coffee, milk chocolate, sweet, red fruit, heavy roast. Nice full body. Really good.
Coffee and cacao. Love cacao and Kaka. Get peanut butter on the nose, not so much taste wise, but is a tad thick and chewy. Drinking a coffee based stout before bed, lets see how this goes. Very enjoyable on a rather chilly night.

Pours black into a tulip. Mocha head with recedes to hug rim. Chocolate and espresso aromas. Sweet milk chocolate and vanilla upfront turning to dry espresso in the medium length finish.
