On tap at The Growler Guys. Pours gold with medium white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is earth, citrus, wheat. Medium body, lemon zest, earth, wheat, light finish, good.

It’s good to see Georgetown finally can their beer. It’s years overdue, and hopefully it will help them get the word out about their beers outside the Seattle area, where you can find the beer anywhere that serves beer at all, or at least it seems. I’ve had this beer dozens of times in the past. It’s always been a great option when at a bar that the options are limited. A solid, trustworthy go to. Clean and clear golden pour with an oily head. Nice hop quality to pair with a soft straw aroma. Clean tasting, but flavorful. Refreshing. Strong malt backbone in a light beer. Such an easy drink. Throw down a six back and enjoy the baseball game, kind of beer.

Gold with a fizzy white head. Medium noble hops, light grain, earth, zesty. Clean and crisp and refreshing. Easy and tasty. Go-to.

On tap at Ray’s. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of straw and hay with a hint of earthy grass underlying. Flavor is similar with lots of earthy grass and straw with a bit of hay backing.

On tap at Nakameguro Taproom. Clear straw gold with a small white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Has some nice floral and perfume-like aromas with some grain and peppery hops. Taste is more of the same. Average carbonation with a light body and refreshing mouthfeel. A little more watery than crisp but not overly so. Nice dry finish. On Tap at Bier:Thirty Clear golden. lots of effervescence and a thich lasting bright white head. Clean light crisp pilsner flavors. A touch malty and substantial. Very good example of a style I am not typically a fan of.

On tap at Georgetown, pours a clear pale straw yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp grassy hops, along with some vegetal notes. Flavour is clean and mildly crisp, with grassy hops and light spiciness. Not the most interesting beer, but well-made and drinkable. Decent pils.
