Bottle. Pours clear light amber with foamy off-white head, caramel malt and piney hops aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter caramel malt taste with moderate hops influence, thin body, longish bitter finish. Nice brew.

On tap at Bill’s Bar & Burger, NYC. Clear medium amber under a large foamy off white head that fades slowly and leaves lots of lace. Nose is light bread with some light citrus and some grass. Flavour follows with light caramel backing a medium- bitterness. Mouth is medium with average carbonation and a lingering lightly bitter finish. 6/3+/6/3/12

12 oz bottle poured. Mostly clean, clear golden pour with a thin fizz head. English style IPA for sure if you ask me, mostly due to it being unique to my normal steady. Slight plastic hops aroma, flavor is a cool, plastic hints again. Not off putting though. A late bitter follow. Interesting IPA.

Bottle at home, 18/02/17 ... had this a few times over the years ... finally catching up to rate it! Clear golden with a well appointed off white head. Nose is caramel, grains, malt forward, biscuit, vanilla, lgiht citric peel, hoppy notes. Taste comprises sweet malts, biscuit crumble, custard, caramel, toasted brioche, light orange peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dashed with hop bitterness. Historical recreation or not ... this is not what I want from an IPA in 2017. Drinks Ok if a touch sweet but I doubt I’ll ever head back here!

Clear amber with little white head. Aroma is lots of papaya, tropic fruit, mandarin. Taste is resin bitterness with only a little fruit sweetness. Quite heavy with clogging resin stuff. Not easily drinkable but still good.
