Tap at Gambrinus. Pours a hazy, milky, glowing straw with a finger of foam that lingers. Tart, limeade, perfume nose. Creamy yogurt and lime on the palate. Tart finish, but a touch of diaper as it warms. Hmmm..it is what it is, but not sure it should have been made. --- Beer merged from original tick of Limesicle on 06 Feb 2017 at 19:46 - Score: 6. Beer and Smoke, Brooklyn bottle: pours cloudy murky light orange with a huge head. Aroma is lime, other citrus. Taste is bitter at the finish. Very limey and citrusy. Body is soft and creamy but also very light.

Tasting at Matt’s
Murky blond color. The aroma has some bread, biscuity malts, but mostly a strong lime character that seems artificial even if not, dish product. Very smooth and highly carbonated mouthfeel, dry; again the lime character is not really appreciated; astringent in the final; not even the expected sweetness from the lactose.
Weird, not too good.

Cloudy, quite pale. Thin head. A lot of orangey aroma, but lots of flavoured lime, too. Spicy and sweet, with lots of fruity hop character. That vanilla shows through a fair bit. Lots of flavour. Wouldn’t call it the most balanced beer, but I like the different elements and they work together fairly well.

Bottle - Intense lime, almost cleaner like. Turbid yellow with a decent white head. Lots of lime zest and not quite artificial but a bit too intense.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of limes upfront, with a lacto-y, milky palate; no note of the vanilla or anything else. Flavour brings out a ton of lime upfront, followed by astringent hoppy bitterness. No notice of the vanilla. Dry, citric and bitter finish. Decent.

Draft pour pint at Frankies pizza. Pours a cloudy lemonade appearance with an active fizz carb. Sweet lime heavy aroma. Margarita on tap? I’ve never had one of those beer infused margaritas, but If they are anything like this at all, I was missing out. I was hoping to get some tart out of this, but it wasn’t meant to be. Mostly sweet candy lime. Pretty good beer for a little while, but the initial surprise wore off and wanted something more beery. Does that even make sense? Who cares, I know what I mean.
