12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 12/27/2018. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, mint, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, mint, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, honeydew melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, mint, wood, peppercorn, pine, wheat, cracker, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, fairly crisp, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Minimal warming alcohol for 5.7%. Overall this is an outstanding American pale ale. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish, not aggressive. Amazing Galaxy/Motueka profile. Extremely vibrant, juicy, and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; with a great balancing pale/wheat malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering crisp/resin dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Loved the hop profile as expected.

Galaxy hops, singularly. A lesson in the way galaxy exists. Hazy pale. Immediate mild impact perfumy hops dancing on my olfactory. Big and bitter and rude and on-style and annoying and piss-me-off. Whew, big and bitter, did I say that yet? My ratebeerian friend, this is IPA, not APA. Even has the % of an IPA, dude. So this is why the IPAs use lots of the galaxy; better call the men in black. Some sizzle in the co2 on the finish.

Draft. Deep golden body with orange highlights. Short, off-white head. Light aroma citrus, toasted grain, grapefruit. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Thin to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Taste of, well, maybe some citrus, maybe some tropical fruits. But this is about as an anemic pale ale as one could find. Inoffensive, but lifeless.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a slightly hazy copper color with a large foamy orange-white head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was tangy, sweetish and yeasty with phenol and vague fruity hops. The flavor was tangy, yeasty and bready with faint vague fruity hops, a touch of citrus and an off, almost buttery undertone and vague spices. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh.

Tall draft at the The Eagle Food and Beer Hall in Cincinnati, Ohio. The pour is slight hazed copper golden with a smallish off white head. The aroma is malty caramel, fruit sweetness and a hint of tropical citrus. The taste is all about the caramel and fruit malt. Decently clean. The palate is medium bodied, soft natural carbonation and a sweet malty finish. Not sure how fresh this keg was.

Super fresh keg tapped at Gambrinus for the Rhinegeist event. Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Durian, stinky tropical nose with peach & tangerine. Creamy mouthfeel, soft carb. Kiwi, peach. Wow. Very low perceived bitterness. This is fantastic on draft and my winner from the night.

Sample at The Ohio Taproom. The beer pours a clear orange-gold color with a medium thick and foamy ivory white head that dissipates slowly. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of tropical fruit, grassy hops and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
