Pours clear gold into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Grapefruit and resin aromas. Medium bodied with dank resin and grapefruit upfront turning to lasting bitter earth in the lasting finish. Thanks TAR for the trade.

Bottle. Hazy golden body with a frothy, white head, diminishing. Aroma of resin, grapefruit, leafy hops, lemon peel, lightly toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. From the aroma, you'd think this is going to be a resin bomb. There are tastes of resin, pine and grapefruit and the moderate bitterness lingers on. But nothing is overwhelming and there's a light sweetness and citrus taste to help balance everything. Nice IPA.

Tap at Mellow. Pours a glowing, golden straw color with a finger of foam that lingers. Lime, tangerine, green pineapple alongside some herbal aromas: spearmint and grass. Light bodied and easily crushable. More fresh spearmint, fennel alongside white grapefruit and lime. Citrusy, bitter finish. Bright and delicious. --- Beer merged from original tick of Floy Division IV on 03 Jan 2017 at 00:14 - Score: 8. Original review text: Crushed pineapple, citrus, resin notes."light and crushable. Good hippy character!
