Bottle shared. Pours a deep brown with a small head that just leaves a ring around the glass. Roasted coffee, blackberry aromas dominate. Roasted coffee off the palate as well. Poured into an English pint glass, the appearance was a dark rugged brown almost black color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. No lace.
The aroma was practically perfect in it’s balance between the coffee bean to the cocoa bean. Bitterness to the sweetness - well balanced. Subtle vanilla is there.
The flavor lends a hand somewhat to the bitter side first but ends up balancing superbly between the sweetness and the bitterness. Superb dry coffee to cocoa bean aftertaste leading into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body balancing spectacularly between the bitterness and the sweetness of the cocoa and coffee bean. It moves so nice on my tongue without leaving barely any grip. Carbonation feels very good as well.
Overall, what a damn nice milk/sweet stout that I would love to have again! Spectacular in it’s entirety!

Bottle purchased at 7- Eleven, Kitter, ME. Nose is heavy on chocolate, light coffee, and definitely milk sugar. Pours pitch black with small brown head.
Taste is coffee bean upfront and great malt depth giving a good roasty backbone. Body is actually more medium then full but the creamy smoothness kicks it up a notch. Alcohol is hidden and feel like a lighter stout. I only took 4 ounces of this because of the lactose sugar. (I have lactose intolerance ) however, I would have drank a lot more if I could. Great flavor and it hits the mark on a "breakfast" stout. Very nice.

500ml bottle picked up at the beer Junction Seattle. Pours out black topped with a small tan head. Nose is nice roast coffee plenty of chocolate malts and some vanilla. Taste is more of the heavy roast coffee sweet milk chocolate a nice end.

500 ml bottle into snifter; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours opaque dark brown/black color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and foamy dark tan head with decent retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big nutty dark roasted coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, toasted dark bread, vanilla, cream, light smoke/dark fruit, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of roast/bready malt, coffee/lactose, and moderate earthy hop notes; with good strength. Taste of big nutty dark roasted coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, toasted dark bread, vanilla, cream, light smoke/dark fruit, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/roasted bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of nutty coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa, toasted dark bread, herbal, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of roast/bready malt, coffee/lactose, and moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great roast/hop bitter/sweet balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from roast/hop bitterness as well. Light-medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky, and fairly sticky/chalky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice coffee milk stout. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of roast/bready malt, coffee/lactose, and moderate earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
