Location: Growler from the brewery, 7/9/15
Aroma: Herbal and earthy, spice, pepper, a bit of cracker, and some citrus/tropical fruits as well
Appearance: It pours a cloudy bright orange color with a milky eggshell head and mid-heavy lacing
Flavor: Tastes of a nice yeast/spice blend, with earthy and herbal flavors, and a good bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, with a creamy feel, average carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: Well then, after the amazing tropical hop flavor of all those other IPAs turns out it isn't the only hop profile they can absolutely nail. The hop profile here, with its excellent complexity, is completely different than others of their beers, but still excellent in its own way. Wow, they got it right again. No surprise.

Sample at Jackie O’s during the 9th Anniversary Extravaganza on 12/05/14. The beer pours a murky yellow-gold color with a medium white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of piney hops, citrus, melon and toasted malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Solid IPA all around.

Growler at CBC Clerko, muled over by Leighton. It pours hazy golden yellow with a thick white head. The nose is fresh, juicy, orange squash, tangerine, mango, grapefruit and sherbet. The taste is light toast, orange, grapefruit, sherbet, earth, straw, hay, pine, grass and varnish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Lovely fruity sherbet action going down. Brilliant balance. Crisp, dry and eminently drinkable. Wow.
