A remarkably drinkable Double IPA that pays tribute to one of Mother Nature’s finest creations, as several hop varietals combine for massive aromas of tropical fruit, citrus and pine. A mild caramel malt character and dry finish provide balance.

That’s a good one, even past their 3-months shelf life guideline.

12 ounce bottle. Amber orange pour. Frothy beige head. Dank, resiny hop nose. First sip is caramel malt and piney hops. Hints of old citrus and tropical fruit. Orange and papaya in middle. Earthy pine in finish. 8% ABV is muted. Tasty.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a copper color with a large creamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was mildly bitter, piney and fruity. The flavor was bitter rough with pine, earthiness and an off fruity note. Medium length finish. Medium body. Disappointing.

From a bottle, and I'm not a fan of IPA so this means the worse the rating the better it is, so go figger this tik. Pours rather viscous and darker almost has a darker pale thing going on. Got a stuffy nose so don't smell much there, nothing apparent, rather neutral. First taste is bitter thicker liquid with a resinous friutly butyl blast. Bampot, bastard, beaner. Real bitchass, bitchtits bollocks; what else can be said. Arrogant mah-fah? Just asking! Terribly & nastily on double imperial style. Not impressed, heheheh.

Bottle. Amber body with a frothy, off-white head, lasting. The aroma of orange, tropical fruit, tangerine, caramel, toasted grain, cookie. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium to full body, velvety texture, moderate to lively carbonation. Good balance and mouthfeel. Taste of fruit, citrus, orange. Clean.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Appearance is mostly clear (mild haze) light amber with fair sparkle, 3-finger off-white foamy head after aggressive pour with good retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is muddled herbal, musky and sweet fruit and citrus with caramel/bread backbone. Taste is nondescript sweet fruit, dank, grainy malt. Palate is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, didn't get a massive aroma of anything, let alone tropical fruit. Appearance and palate make it seem better than it is. Taste disappoints. I expect more from Bell's. Just OK.
