Bottle from thewolf, thanks! Almost black and opague. Roast, ash and apple syrup in the aroma. Full bodied, thick mouthfeel. Malty roasty flavor, very sweet with roast, ash and licorice. So powerful, that I didn’t pick up the barrel ageing. Roasty nutty aftertaste with warming alcohol and Snickers. Huge beer!

Black as the deepest dungeon, and a fine beige head. Good lacing also. Good intensity in the aroma. Full body and a smooth fine carbonation level. Sweet, but not cloying. Raisin syrup oh yeah. Lots of raisin in the flavor. Also fruity, chocolate, wood and some vinous notes. Warming alcohol, but well masked.

33 cl bottle @ wPBF’14, brewed 13.07.2011
Aroma is sweet with some rubber and alcohol. Also salty licorice and herbal tones. Flavour is sweet with sting of alcohol, some dark chocolate, coffee and salty licorice. Too boozy, but could work as a slow sipper.

Bottle 330ml vintage 2011 (WPBF)
Opaque black color, small brownish head. Licorice, roasted malts in the nose. Full-bodied, sticky palate. Very, very sweet. after 2,5 years still. Syrupy, roasted malty flavor. Alcohol is buried under the sweetness. Doesn’t taste very complex.

Espero repetir pronto.
