On tap at Molto’s 4th Anniversary. A pale straw gold with a dense head of egg white foam. It’s got a nice rich orange grove aroma. Medium to full bodied the taste is a sharp almost acidic pithy citrus that is surprisingly bitter seeming at first but gives more fruit & spice notes as it warms. Refreshing though and not at all what I was expecting based on my memories of the regular Shonan Gold which is quite sweet. 3.6-7

pale golden color. Big frothy head. Amazingly fresh orange rinds in the nose with orange rind bitterness - like bitter. Super clean. Great nose. Malty, super full of oranges, tart tons of orange rinds. Medium full body. Fantastic

Tap at Watering Hole (their 4th Anniversary). Poured quite clear yellow, does not look like a strong body -and it isn’t. Aroma has loads of fruits, loads off oranges. Taste has the same plus massive grapefruit seed bitterness there as well. Quite flavourful for the relatively watery body. Not really sweet, liked it.

Tap at Watering Hole for 4th Anniversary. Endless iyokan and juicy grapefruit notes. Light bodied but with so much fruit. Easy drinking without any bitterness really. Not sweet at all, quite fruity and juicy with a lovely dry finish. Great fruit beer from Sankt Gallen. --- Beer merged from original tick of Super Shonan Gold (超湘南ゴールド) on 25 Dec 2015 at 21:53 - Score: 7
