Bottle from Craft Brewed shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a hazy copper with some purplish highlights and a finger of beige foam that lingers. Ginger forward nose with some light tart young blueberry notes as it warms. Clean and smooth, active carbonation on the palate. More ginger and blueberry skin aromas, some cobweb and hay notes as well, light funk as it warms. The ginger shines toward the finish and has a nice ginger undertone that lingers. Paired well with Chinese. --- Beer merged from original tick of Blueberry Rhubarb Ginger Farmhouse Ale on 10 Mar 2018 at 18:59 - Score: 8

This beer pours quite hazy a bit of purple overlaid on a beige note. There is some head not a lot dissipates really slowly leave some lacing I would say off white in color.. their own is super funky there's definitely some feet in the air and there some Barnyard and some basement in the standard things one says about funky beer bordering on mushroom which is a little bit of a concern but not too bad.. there is some fruit as well but you can't tell what fruit there's no way you'd identify blueberries or rhubarb it's just a bit of fruitiness on top of Funk. Flavor pretty much follows its decent tartness light plus I would say A medium Funk definitely a lot of fun going on definitely some feet and armpits damp basements and all that good stuff some fruitiness but not definitive as to what once again. Medium body soft Moffett Field. Overall this is a pretty solid beer just not sure that I would ever have identified blueberries or rhubarb as constituents thereof. 4,8,7,4,15

Sample at the Rhinegeist Rare Beer Fest 10/28/2017. Cloudy purplish-amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of tart berry, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart rhubarb, berry, mildly funky yeast, malt and a hint of ginger. The finish is tart with a blueberry and rhubarb aftertaste. Pretty good beer overall.
