Can thanks to David R.
Appearance - brown to black and opaque with a big foamy beige head.
Nose - bread, maple syrup, peanut and a touch roasty.
Taste - more of the sweet adjuncts going on, with a bready and roasty malt note too.
Palate - medium bodied, creamy middle and lightly bitter finish, some hop, some malt.
Overall - good.

Foamy tan head left a spotty cover on a dark brown body. Malt, syrup & burnt aroma. Medium bodied, soft over the tongue with sharp back. Malt, peanut, syrup, lactose & berry tastes with a tangy hoppy bitter finish. Good one.

Can ordered from Suds & Soda, Derby. Roasty with aroma of peanuts and vague hints of maple. Glossy darkest brown. Foamy tan head soon disappears almost entirely. Initial smooth nutty coffee, soon followed by a big dose of roasty coffee. Underlying sweeter peanut butter and that sour note I find maple syrupy often seems to lend to beers, alongside sugar. Peripheral sour berries. But for as beer I thought wad going to be sweet as this satisfyingly bitter. Medium bodied. Creamy. Oily. Average prickly carbonation. Long astringent finish. A big beer. It clubs your taste buds with a peanut butter and coffee smeared maple branch
