Tasty dessert stout, deftly maintaining its oatmeal raisin cookie profile without coming across too sweet or gimmicky. Usual imperial stout suspects appear--lots of chocolate, coffee, anise, and dark fruits--but are accented by veins of cinnamon, caramel, and a discernible but restrained raisin undercurrent. Bourbon, oak, and vanilla show through on the finish, while the fade mixes dark chocolate with a mild boozy warmth. Pours a deep, dark black with a heavy brown head and solid lacing. Truly indulgent aroma, inviting cinnamon and chocolate with a liquor back. Thick, gooey feel has a tinge of heat, but nothing unmanageable. Good pint.

On draught at the Funkatorium. Black pour with a little brown around the edges, and a medium thick foamy tan head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of bourbon, chocolate, malt and coffee. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, milk chocolate, vanilla, malt and spices. The finish is sweet and boozy with a bourbon and chocolate aftertaste. Thankfully Wicked Weed was able to salvage something for the taproom from the disaster trying to bottle this beer, because this is pretty damn good.
