Sampled at Max's Belgian Fest 2024, pours a clear gold, white head. Sugary nose, some spice. Candy flavor with floral notes, dandelions mostly..

On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours a cloudy bright golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out rustic saison yeast, floral notes and straw. Flavour reveals a nice rustic saison yeast character in classic Belgian saison fashion, with a soft floral character that permeates and only the slightest of esters. Nothing incredible but a very competently done by-the-books Belgian saison.

Small pour at the Brick Store Pub. Pours a slightly hazy, bright, yellow color, with a big, frothy, white head. The aroma is orange juice, dust, caramel, pine, and syrup. Sweet and yeasty, with a mild bitterness. Medium body, with a creamy, effervescent mouthfeel. Solid saison.

Draft. Light hazy yellow gold. Not much for lacing. Aroma is lemony with moderate peach esters. A little mineral but definitely Belgian and definitely not crazy American Belgian. Flavor has more of that banana and makes it less fun. Also, not a saison. Why would they call it a Saison... marketing for Americans.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish, glowing straw color with a finger of foam that lingers. Pils malt on the nose...grassy, faint orange zest, honey. Clean and crisp, light green banana...very light. Peppercorn finish, grassy bitterness. Lingering peppery bitterness and grass. Very dry...would pair nicely with food.

Draft. Light golden body with a frothy, white head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of spice, clove, toasted grain, lemon, citrus, mustiness. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety /syrupy texture. Dry. Taste of clove and spice. Hint of raw grain. Light aroma. Overall, slightly clunky with a thick mouthfeel.

Pine, not much else. Light bitter finish. Hazy orange pour with ok head and lacing. Not bad, but not a huge amount of character like Coen Brothers movies. Tap at Snally.
