12 ounce can from the Wine Shop Charleston, 5/5/23. Doesn't say Cougar Bait on the can. Just Key Lime. But, according to Untappd there is no other key lime beer. Hazy orange, thin tan head, average retention. Aroma of strong lime, soap, pale malt. Taste is pale malt, lime, soap. Meh.
Gold pour. Thin foam with even lace. Malt and lime flavor with a lot of lime palate. Easy carbonation. Light bodied.

The can just says “Key Lime” so maybe they dropped “cougar bait” from the name. Pours clear gold and smells of lime and bready, grainy malt. The flavor is somewhat sweet with grainy malt and lime that’s noticeable but not especially strong. Decent balance. Light bodied. It’s okay.

At SAVOR. Poured a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was light citrus, with some light malty notes. This was a bit light on the lime and coconut notes. Refreshing, but very mild.

A can from kroger. Pour is slight hazy pale. Some floaters in there. First impression is it needs more CO2. Smell is plain old beer. Taste is slightly dull, its hard to find the lime. Not really impressed with this. Has a some undesired bitterness on the finish, could use more manners. Not sure why these ratings are so high, maybe I got an old can. Date code on can is unreadable. Well, the can only cost me a buck 60. At least it was a tick. There you have it.

12oz can at the GBBF on 7th Aug 2019. More floaters than you could 'shake a big stick at' it was heaving with them. Dull golden/amber, off-white wisp on top. Lime aroma and taste, not my thing, but glad I had a go!

$2.09 can from Vintages by the Dan. Pours hazy gold... floaters abound. Aroma is tart lime, grasses, tea. Flavor is only slightly tart lime, grasses, black, tea, caramel. Strange aftertaste.

On tap at Recovery. Clear golden with small white head. Aroma is light lime, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is light grain and some lime.

Can from Val-U. Drank straight from the can. Key lime nose is there, with some graininess. Crisp on the palate with a bit of an old malt taste, key lime stands out brightly. There is a little chili on the finish somehow. Would be cool if they blended nacho bait and key lime together.
