Juicy orange and lemon zest, crackers and earth, peach and gooseberry, slightest smidgen of bitterness on the finish, mild but noticeable astringency on the fade. Standard Bearded Iris, in other words. Good, not great.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish, deep gold with a full finger of foam that lingers. Big tropical nose with lychee, grapefruit, mango. The aromas really sing, great nose. Body is creamy with nice carbonation. Bitter, light caramel and pine on the palate. Orange juice comes out as it warms. Another solid beer from Bearded Iris. --- Beer merged from original tick of Red Handed DDH on 02 Sep 2017 at 21:46 - Score: 8. Original review text: Lychee, grapefruit, mango. Great nose.
