Can at home. A bit hazy yellow color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma and flavor are both tremendously hoppy, resinous hoppy mostly with light notes of tropical fruit. I love this! Firmly bitter as well and a really pleasant sticky resinous hop bitter finish. Suitable medium to full body and medium carbonation. If I have to give one small point of criticism it would be that the carbonstion is a bit fizzy perhaps but it's still a lovely beer. Very nice!

Orange, peach, biscuit malt, pine, and grapefruit peel aroma. Cloudy pale yellow with moderate white head. Moderately sweet orange, peach, tangerine, creamy biscuit malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Nice body and balance.

Tap at Sir James Pub. Not really that hazy at all, almost looks filtered actually, faint chill haze? Nice hop depth, not as much Motueka tone as I had hoped, but still there. Green strawberry, lime, mango peach..a lot going on. Good.

Draft. A murky golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, hops, spices, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus fruits, hops, over ripe peaches, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Double hazy IPA hopped with Simcoe, Mosaic, Motueka and Centennial; as usual, the brewery offers an abstract and slightly surreal tasting note, in this case “bursting, foxy and intricate”. Medium thick, egg-white, mousy but quickly opening head, hazy straw blonde robe. Aroma of raw pineapple, geeen mango, green kiwi, lime zest, dough, starfruit, unripe pear, cucumber. Very fruity, juicy onset, medium strong carbonation (bit much perhaps for a NEIPA), sweetish with notes of pineapple, lychee and green mango, soft doughy malt ‘soil’ with ongoing sweetness (a bit creamy and honeyish) and drenched in very aromatic, fruity, tropical hoppiness, with all the mango, lychee and starfruit returning brightly, but not too exuberantly so. Hop bitterness remains relatively soft, alcohol stays well hidden. Well-made for this style, bursting perhaps, though I still don’t get the “foxy”…

Keg at BD Soho, 20/12/18. Hazed orange with a well presented off white covering that retains well. Nose is bitter orange, pine dusting, grassy aroma, toasted malts, melon. Taste comprises orange pith, light dank kiss, grapefruit zest, citric tinged straw, pine resin. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness at the curtain call. Decent enough old skool leaning DIPA.
