Witbier with Lemon and Orange Peels
Kamikaze Kaleidoscope appears hazy straw in color with a bright white head thanks to the healthy amount of wheat in this friendly summer Wit, making it very approachable. Sweet wheat and citrus aromas come to the scene next with a slight hint of Wit yeast that makes this such a unique and drinkable beer. Subtle flavors of Orange and Lemon lace in nicely with a big wheat mouthfeel and a slight tartness thanks to the Wit yeast used in this beer. Finishing dry and clean, this beer will definitely be on your list of summer beers to crush from now on.

Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is malt, wheat, citrus, citrus peel, spicy yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Not great but not bad either, I like the bitter citrus peel.

Deep hazy golden and copper coloured body with a peach-like glow, all with almost no head at all. Aroma of grass, coriander seed, a lot of wheat and light citrus notes as well - strong throughout, but leaving a hole in the terms of the scent and the style. Light to Medium-bodied; Super dry flavours at first with the big medicinal bite and a dash of hay, grass, light funk and a dash of odd fruit notes. Aftertaste then ensues and for most folks, the best part of the evening is during the front portion and insted of hearing about the funk and complexities of the breweries. Overall, a deep and horribly bittered and pungent note of grain and light spices that definitely show this as either a Belgian Style IPA or a deeper normal IPA. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine In Fairfax, Virginia on 1-September-2019 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington on 07-September-2019, while enjoying a Michigan beer after watching Michigan [University of] play football earlier in the day.

Hazy pale amber colour, small fizzy off-white head, dissipates quickly, no lacing, quite dull to see. Aroma wheat malt, yeast, caramel, light citrus, spicy notes. Taste light to medium sweet and bitter, malty, burnt sugar, yeasty. Flat sweetbitter aftertaste, spicy and earthy notes, medium body, watery texture, flat carbonation. By no means a witbier, disappointing.

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a murky bright apricot color with a huge fluffy white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was musty and dryish with bubblegum and egg white. The flavor was dry and musty with coriander, perfume and some astringency. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.

Tap at Gambrinus. Pours a clearish straw with a full finger of foam that lingers. Clove, lemon and coriander nose. Light banana bread, bit of pink peppercorn and hoppy bitterness on the finish. 355ml bottle. Murky amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity and slightly spicy aroma, hints of coriander, apple purΓ©e and oat flakes, a citrusy, zesty touch of orange peel. Taste is slightly bitter, zesty, fruity hints of apple, a touch of oat flakes; watery. Maybe just hitting the dartboard, but definitely out of bounds.

12 fl. oz. bottle from Brolters, Bremen. Murky pale golden like tropical juice, very small head. Smells orange fuity and yeasty. Taste has surprisingly more hop and malt at the start. Toasted wheat, dry, less orange, caramell, some bitterness to the end. Okay.

0.355l bottle. Very hazy orange body with basically no head. Aroma of bread, rye, orange peel, cloves and some band-aid. Taste of orange peel, rye, cloves and lemon zest. Not at all like a witbier. Not so good.

Bottle. Lemon, coriander, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Lightly sweet lemon, coriander, wheat malt, and moderately bitter hay flavor. Okay body. Not bad but think I need to try to find a fresher bottle.
