Witbier with Lemon and Orange Peels

Kamikaze Kaleidoscope appears hazy straw in color with a bright white head thanks to the healthy amount of wheat in this friendly summer Wit, making it very approachable. Sweet wheat and citrus aromas come to the scene next with a slight hint of Wit yeast that makes this such a unique and drinkable beer. Subtle flavors of Orange and Lemon lace in nicely with a big wheat mouthfeel and a slight tartness thanks to the Wit yeast used in this beer. Finishing dry and clean, this beer will definitely be on your list of summer beers to crush from now on.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is bitter orange peel, medium body, some carbonation, and pretty good lacing. Taste is grainy and bitter orange. Not one of the better wits.

Bottle. I do not think this is a wit, it doesn’t have enough flavor or aroma for that and might be better classified in the wheat ale category. Some lemon, not getting the orange however. Light flavor, just a hint of lemon and some wheat but lacks the flavors, like coriander, expected in a wit.
