very malty, sweet with licorice cherry and oranges. Light body for ten percent. Kinda interesting alcohol well hidden

Can thanks to Rick. Pours golden with a nice tight white head. Smells like a citrus and tropical fruit hop bomb. Sweet sticky hops, plenty of fruitiness. Lingering bitters. Very flavorful.

Can at share. Pale golden body, non existent head. Flat and dull pour. Mild fruity aroma, mango. Slick mouth feel. Taste us fruity, a bit of a sting on the palate. Nice finish, sticky.

Thanks willisread for the can! Poured into a snifter showing moderately filtered honey orange with half a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows pineapple and pine with hints of honey. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Light flavors of sharp pine resin.

A double IPA for the IBU-phobic. Massive frontloaded hops, tropical and citric and juicy as all hell, yet the back endโ€™s kind of a desert; the hoppiness drifts away, leaving a semisweet grainy finish and a distinct lack of bitterness to close things out. I hate to be repetitive, but this seems to be my primary issue with Bearded Iris; too many of their IPAs start hoppy as all hell and fade into nothingness by the end. Solid citrus-dank-pine nose, and the appearance is solid, not as hazed as most BI beers but a pretty gold with ample lacing. Textureโ€™s good too, slick and oily. But itโ€™s odd to have a beer this hoppy not leave you with any palate-wrecking bitterness on the fade. Call it the anti-Stone.

Can from the source. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of foam. Peach, apricot durian all over the nose. Tons of fruit on the palate, w/ peach and mango dominating & a touch of candied lemon. No perceived bitterness on this one at all. Another homerun by BI.
