Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a black color with a huge creamy beige head that left very good lacing. The aroma was dry and roasty with cocoa and wood notes. The flavor was sourish, malty, a bit roasty and had coffee and a hint of cocoa. Long finish. Medium body.

Draft at Gambrinus. Pours a deep brown with a small head. Deep cacao nib aroma, roasted malt. Uber thin on the palate with faint watery chocolate notes. Light as a feather and to a fault. Hint of chocolate at end. Too watery and and too quick of a finish.
