Can from Adrian. Thanks man! Pours a glowing hazy mango juice colored orange with a soft, fluffy white head that lingers. Strawberry notes, lime and faint pine aromas. Juicy and creamy on the palate. More pine and strawberry...wow really complex as it warms up a bit. Lots of wild berry and citrus on the finish. Very much like a hazy grunion. Awesome.

Another Bearded Iris hop spectacular, all grapefruit and lemon and pine with a tart, semisweet berry-like undertone. Nose explodes with citrus, and the pour comes out the brewery’s standard opaque yellow-gold with ample lace. Taste starts immediately with the grapefruit, then slowly gains a slight toasted malt sweetness, grainy and brief, before the lemon zest and pine take over in the middle. Yet the finish is weak, as if all the fruity hop elements vanish in a flash, leaving only a lengthy pinecone fade. (Not the first BI beer to do this, in my opinion.) Texture’s a tad thin and undercarbonated as well. All in all a good Pale Ale, just front-loaded.
