Not So Belgian Pale
Our good friends Alan and Jeremy from Plank Road Taproom came down and brewed a decadent beer with us. Bittered with citra hops (why? because reasons) and finished out with whirlpool and dry-hopped additions of Cascade for a balanced hop profile to match a malty backbone. This hoppy amber farmhouse beer likes to party, as we’re sure you do as well.

Tap at Gambrinus. Pours a clear, light copper with a small white head that dissipates quickly. Light fruity esters and grassy hops. Body is thin on the palate, with a slight watery mouthfeel. Carbonation is crisp though. Fall fruit and grass, a touch of caramel. Light peppery bitterness on the finish with some orange zest. Fairly straightforward. --- Beer merged from original tick of 2nd Best Collaboration Ever! on 12 Nov 2016 at 00:10 - Score: 7 --- Beer merged from original tick of Second Best Collab Ever on 12 Nov 2016 at 12:46 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. On tap at Hopcat Louisville. Pours a cloudy copper with small off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is yeast, grass, bread. Medium body, yeast, wood, funky, light dry finish, good.
