Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clear copper to brown with a small bit of beige head that dissipates. Tart cherry, oak and light toffee notes all over the nose. Oak really comes out strong on the palate, with smooth cherry and vanilla notes. Not overly tart or acidic. Oak really balances out the tartness. Smooth finish with cherry, wet hay and oak. Some of bourbon notes come out on the finish as it warms, but neither too boozy or too much barrel here. Well executed.
