Nashville Festbier is a traditional Märzen style beer, perfect for the autumn festivities. This deep amber colored beer was traditionally brewed in March (the German word for Märzen) and lagered (aged) during the summer. This was the style enjoyed at the first Oktoberfest in 1810.

Not a bad festbier, mildly sweet with notes of grain and toasted bread and apple against a firm floral bitterness. Decent pint.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clear, deep gold with a finger of white foam. Cereal malt aromas with wet straw and grassy hop aromas. Crisp and clean. Easy drinking, but a maybe a touch too sweet.
