This Belgian table bier is a traditional entry into the Session category. It is meant to be consumed with food but also stands well on its own. When you need to drink the whole meal and want something with plenty of flavor but don’t want to get shit-twisted from the alcohol, this is a great choice. Look for a smooth malty body with hints of biscuit and rye. The hops are subdued and mostly present as a bittering agent. The yeast plays a prominent role increating bready and lightly fruity notes.

From tap at the BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Aroma is grainy malt and a touch of apples. Flavour is moderate to medium bitter. Body is light. Not too impressed with this one, very light and watery, where is the yeast?

Tap @ beer temple. Amber color. caramel and ripe fruit in the aroma. Watery mouthfeel. caramel, Licorice in the malty sweet flavor. Low on carbon.

Clean, bready malts. Easy drinking. Enough hops for balance. Not interesting, but not bad, a good enough drinker.

At a tasting, thanks, small stable bubbly head, clear darkish gold color, aroma of cardboard, candy and some fruit with a grainy hint, grainy paper flavor and a bit stale. Not too good.

Can from J’s. Pours a clearish copper with 2 fingers of foam that linger. Malt-forward nose with some nice yeast. Crisp and vibrant carbonation, malty with a light Belgian yeast end. Lovely table beer.
